The Visionary / Integrator same page meeting

To keep the gears of your business running smoothly, it is critical to have an effective dynamic between your Visionary and Integrator. The ‘same page meeting’ is your tool to make this happen

This monthly 2-4 hour meeting - is where you bring all of your issues, concerns, ideas, and disconnects; then identify, discuss and solve (IDS) them. It should be locked in your calendars (not ad-hoc) each and every month (or more frequently if your business needs)

The agenda is simple:

> Check-in (5 mins)

-  Different from your regular L10 check-in 

- One at a time: “Personal state of mind”, “Business state of mind”

- go as deep as you need to so that the other person understands where your head is, before you start the meeting

> Build the Issues List (5 mins)

- get all the issues out of your head, on to the issues list 

- The ‘Same-Page’ issues list is in addition to your regular L10 Issues List

- resist the urge to start IDS’ing while building the Issues List

> IDS (2 - 4 hrs)

- Take as long as you need to Solve all of your issues

- Get 100% on the same page

- Might be shorter than 2 - 4 hours (but make sure you have sufficient time allocated

- with time the meeting will get shorter (as you get increasingly on the same page)

> Conclude (5 mins)

- Same as the L10

This meeting is extremely effective for helping you air out issues, build and strengthen your relationship, and keep you in sync. That then leads to you presenting a united front at the presence of your people, along with a consistent message that eliminates organizational confusion and complexity.
